HOUSE DISTRICTS
Colorado is subdivided into 65 House districts, each represented by a member of the Colorado House of Representatives. These districts are delineated according to population data and undergo redistricting every decade following the census. Adams County accommodates 10 of these House districts, namely Districts 24, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 48, and 56.
Colorado's House districts are delineated regions within the state, each represented by a member of the Colorado House of Representatives. These districts play a crucial role in shaping legislation and policies that directly impact the lives of Colorado residents. Within each district, precincts serve as smaller administrative divisions, allowing for more localized political engagement. Precincts serve as the grassroots foundation of the political process, where residents come together to elect representatives, discuss local issues, and organize community initiatives. This hierarchical structure ensures that the diverse voices and needs of Colorado's population are heard and addressed effectively within the state's political landscape.
